  1. Hi sir migu, thank you for the information you shared to us however, meron lang po sana akong tanong incase alam nu lang po, hope you can give me an answer or advice. I called super shuttle roro, nga lang pwede sila batangas going to bacolod roro pero sasakyan lang walang tao. (how can we be so sure na maging ok ang sasakyan knowing na walang tao, very risky po.) tapos ganun din kapag going to roxas iloilo… meron kapo bang alam sir na kasama car at tao? hope to hear from you soon. thanks and Godbless

    • Hi Mitch,

Una sa lahat Thank you for appreciating islandhopping geek.com.

As far as I know walang pampaseherong barko ang Super Shuttle RoRo from Batangas direct to Bacolod, pinakamainam mo gawin ibiyahe mo sasakyan mo via Culasi, Roxas City Capiz (may biyahe 2GO at Super Shuttle RORO jan); then three hours drive to Dumangas, Iloilo; then short hop to Bredco via Montenegro or Tri-star.

I hope my advice help. Have a nice trip, ingat din!

  3. Sir migu, ask mo lng po, pag galing cebu papunta batangas, cebu-masbate-batangas via super shuttle ferry po ba? may dalang motor po. Thanks.

    • Hi Clark.

    • Hi Mr. Gachallan,

You may call Super Shuttle RORO’s office in Port of Batangas at nos. 0939 622 7298/ 0927 281 6521. Sila lang yung may direct connection from Batangas to Cebu.

  6. Hello Ms.Antonia,

May I suggest you drive it via Western Nautical Highway (from Batangas to Iloilo City via Calapan and Caticlan) or the other option is via Batangas to Roxas City in Capiz then drive down south to Iloilo City. And then from Dumangas, Iloilo take a RORO going to Bacolod and from there you may easily find your way to Dumaguete. Sorry but I really cannot say how long will it take for you to reach your destination because I haven’t tried it myself- on a car. Furthermore, neither I can suggest any hotel along your way because I haven’t tried any hotel or lodging house in any of these places.

God Bless and have a nice trip.

    • Sir, mga magkano po ang charges kung may sasakyan (Strada/ pick up) na dala from Batangas to Roxas City? From Dumangas to Bacolod magkano din po ang charge sa RORO?

      Like

    • Hi,

Coming from Port of Batangas kailangan mo pumunta sa Calapan, Mindoro tapos drive ka paputa ng San Jose-meron RoRo duon going to Curon.

  7. Hi.

Heading to Bora? Well, there are two possible ways….

One is thru Batangas-Calapan-Roxas, Mindoro Or-Caticlan route. Tried this route a number of times and I swear it’s a little exhausting- 6 total hours of RORO sailing plus 3 hours of road trip, and another more hours of endless waiting at the port-expect that during peak season.

Or you may take a leisure travel direct from Batangas to Caticlan via 2GO’s vessel plying this route on a daily basis (Sorry to say but I am not in anyway connected to this company nor receiving anything-not a single cents).

The main consideration though for both ways are the cost, the former cost a bit less, while obviously the latter cost a bit more.

For backpackers though heading to Bora, I would like to suggest to go instead direct to Roxas, Capiz then Kalibo before Caticlan- its more exciting exploring the not so usual road going to Bora.

Thanks for asking by the way and please do share it on your facebook.

    • Hi there Lexter, if you’re coming from Batangas Port going to Bohol I am sure there is no direct RORO trip. Meron trip ang Super Shuttle RORO ng sabado at 3pm going to Roxas City, then pagdating mo duon 4 hours land trip to Iloilo thn RORO ka ulit for Bacolod; another land trip (6 hours) going to Tampi Amlan Negros Oriental and from there crossing ka via barge going to Bato, Samboan Cebu then 3 hours drive to City proper; and from there take a RORO to either Talibon or Tagbi. It’s gonna be a long way home Lexter-kaya mo yan.

      Happy New Year!

    • @allan
You’re right im not representing any of these shipping companies because if I do I won’t bother creating/updating my weblog. You see I am doing every traveller a favor without getting paid by any shipping company or by any of my visitors/viewers, im doing it because someone needs to do it, because I have been searching over the net and its truly difficult to find a site that have all the information a traveller might need (such as shipping sched) and updated every now and then. I need to gather this infos and put it in one roof because I need it whenever Im gonna do island hopping.
If you can’t appreciate what I have been doin…not my problem.
